What do they need? And what should I give?

I wish there was a simple answer to this, but there really isn't. But if we put ourselves in their shoes we can possibly get a sight idea. Imagine that a earthquake destroyed all of Baltimore, killing possibly 100,000 people, and leaving over a million homeless and with only the cloths that they are wearing. What would you need?

We are not accepting any financial donations, these can be donated to one of the many charities listed on the charities page. We are only be accepting goods, labor and prayers.

The list below is a guide line and I know that I'm missing a lot on this, we just ask that anything donated is not in poor condition, expired or otherwise unusable.

We invite you to join our family in making this Supply Drive a success, we need help with moving, coordinating, storing and marketing this campaign.  If you are interested, please send me an email and we will gladly contact you. My email address is (Ben) benlowe@jabem.com or you can contact my wife (Megan) her email is MeganLowe@jabem.com

Some things that would help with this drive are:

  • A big truck for storing and transporting items
  • People to go 'Door to Door' asking for donations
  • People to print up flyers and give them out
  • People to help with the inventory so we know exactly what we receive
  • We probably will need more space for storing this stuff
  • More schools that are interested in participating
  • People to send emails to all of their friends and families
  • People to invite other people on Facebook to support our cause

Unfortunately we don't have a lot of time, there are over a half of a million people who need help right now.
